Dr. R just called. The bone marrow biopsy came back negative.
We'll know more Friday, but at least it hasn't spread there.

A blog about Cancer in general, and Follicular Lymphoma in particular

Just to warn you in advance I tend to write stream of consciousness. Feel free to do the teacher thing and send my blog back with little red marks all over the place. Great news about having clean bone marrow. I'm thinking about you, Isy, and the kids constantly. I had a four month long cancer scare last year that turned out to be something else but the waiting and not knowing specifics is hard, especially for those of us with very active imaginations. If they did one more test I think I would have screamed. Hospitals really should start thinking about hiring a full time masseuse to relax us before and/or work out the kinks after. I've had a few MRIs and could have used a massage. The MRI images are great for show and tell. Hey, we can tape all our MRI pictures together to make a full person. I have multiple head angles, partial trunk, and neck shots. We can add your torso and then we just need some legs and arms. I'm thinking Halloween costume - MRI Man/Woman - he/she defeats the villans by staying still.
Love you, Mary
